Quick summary...
Yesterday was supposed to be my last day at work, but we worked out a neat idea for me to work as able and wherever able going forward, if it works out well for all involved. I'm going to take a week or two off to get into a routine here at home (hopefully), and then we'll try it out. I'm pretty excited about it and humbled that the opportunity is available to me. I'm also nervous about the decision.
Today was crazy fun...
First, we got to see Daddy on the computer for a while, with no technical issues. We all got refreshed from that.
After that, the kids and I went by my work to pick up something I forgot there yesterday. That was fun #2.
Then we ate lunch at Chick-fil-a, where we were basically waited on by half the staff. I love that place. The boys behaved and ate well so they could play in the playground, which was fun #3. Until some boys a smidge older than them came in and were very rude to mine, and my savage Mama Bear came out and explained to them that they weren't to yell at them that way. And we left, because I wasn't sure I could resist the temptation to trip them or something. And my heart was hurting because my sweet boys were still trying to play with the meanies. Man, I might cry about this. I'm so tired.
Sword fighting with our straws at lunch
Fun #4 was the great nap we all got this afternoon.
And fun #5 was just the rest of the day hanging out at home. My kids are so fun and funny and sweet and smart and so many other wonderful things. They are my favorite people after their daddy. They helped me finish my big New York puzzle.
Baby Bear rolled around and explored and chewed and entertained herself for the majority of the day again. She's watching her brothers with more intensity and attention to detail. Not sure if that makes sense, but I'm too tired to do any better.
Another puzzle genius in the making
I plan to have Joshua play with us again tomorrow, so we should have a super fun time again.
I am going to crash now.
What a fun day! Those kids look so happy. I'm glad you're all having a good time.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. I agree with Brandon, they look like they are having so much fun with their mommy.
ReplyDeletePoo on those meanies!
